Freshly drawn and carefully stored Budweiser Budvar beer and the legendary Schweizerhaus "Stelze" - a leg of juicy roast pork and crackling, are well known far outside the borders of Austria. Our home-made potato pancakes are a delicious and natural product and are regarded as the best in the city. Our raddishes are delicately aliced into wafer thin spirals using our own specially designed slicer which is a Schweizerhaus patent.

The Schweizerhaus is situated in the heart of Vienna and has for decades been a symbol of true Viennese charm and hospitality. It is as much a part of Vienna as the waltz, the Lipizzaner horses and of course, the Prater and here you will find our traditional guest house, which boasts probably the most beautiful beer garden in the city. This Viennese institution counts as one of the city's landmarks and is a favourite meeting point for locals who bring their friends and abroad.
